At least once a week, as I entered my residential building in New York City, I would see an orange business card affixed to the buzzer in the lobby. I observed this bright orange card in the same location every time. I also spotted it in several other lobbies as I drove around the city. This business was clearly very persistent. Sooner or later, I noticed the actual orange truck delicately being filled with furniture. I took this as a sign that it was time to reach out to this company, so I decided to grab their business card, and immediately thought of ways to improve it.
After an initial phone conversation with the owner of the company, Honeybold gained insight about the business, its goals, how long it’s been active, the ups, the downs, their current marketing tactics and how it was working out for them. This insight was invaluable.
After a week, Honeybold designed refreshed business cards and EDDM postcards for Orange Truck Movers. The brand-new design was produced on matte cardstock instead of the previous reflective glossy, featured new iconography, distinctive fonts, and it included trackable QR codes that provide data on how many people scan the card, along with location data. We’re able to offer this service to our clients thanks to our sister service, itssotiny.com. We also did a competitive analysis to study the marketing strategies of other moving companies in and around the five boroughs of NYC.
After a brief period, the client requested tens of thousands of business cards to circulate around the city. Following many hours of conversation, in-person and over the phone, we truly feel like a team member of OTM, are dedicated to their heightened success, and continue to communicate regarding opportunities for advancement. We genuinely love working with companies such as this one – with incredible client reviews, a dedicated workforce, and an exceptionally gracious owner who endeavors to keep his clients happy and who thinks outside of the [orange] box.
